Regarding Sharah (Commentary):

All Sharah (Hadith commentaries) available on QASRA are original works developed through a collaborative effort involving Muslims from different schools of thought (Maktab-e-Fikr). These commentaries are prepared under the guidance and supervision of the founders, Syed Badrudduja Chishty and Syed Ali Hamza Chishty.

As QASRA contains hundreds of thousands of commentaries, it is not possible for the founders to personally review and verify every individual Sharah. Therefore, while every effort is made to maintain accuracy and balance, some commentaries may contain the personal understanding or scholarly opinions of their respective authors.

The Sharah should not be regarded as the actual text (Matn) or definitive meaning of a Hadith. Rather, it represents an interpretation and explanation offered by individual scholars and contributors.

QASRA remains committed to the principles of the Quran and Sunnah. If any user finds a commentary that appears incorrect or has stronger evidence from authentic Islamic sources, they are encouraged to contact us. Valid feedback supported by sound evidence will be carefully reviewed, and the relevant Sharah may be revised or updated accordingly.

Regarding Hadith Grading:

The status and grading of Hadith has been sourced from renowned Muhadditheen (Hadith scholars), and in 98% of cases, the name of the grading scholar is mentioned in the reference.

6. Content Accuracy

We strive for accuracy in all Islamic content. However:

7. Availability, Pricing & Sustainability

100% Free, No Ads, No Premium — Ever.

Every feature on QASRA is free for every user, for life. There is no premium tier, no paywall, and no advertisements. We believe Islamic knowledge should be accessible to everyone — including Muslims using low-end devices where ads would cause performance issues.

How QASRA Sustains Itself:

Running QASRA costs real money — data centre fees, CDN bandwidth, app security, development, and maintenance are all borne entirely by the academy. The estimated cost per user ranges from approximately ₹3.24 ($0.04) to ₹23.23 ($0.28) per month depending on usage.

Donations:

QASRA relies on community donations to keep running. As long as donations continue, the service will remain free and operational. If server load or user growth exceeds available funding, donation prompts may appear within the app. In the unlikely event that donations are insufficient to cover operational costs, the service may be paused or discontinued — but we hope for the best and pray this never happens.

Updates & Internet:

8. Limitation of Liability

QASRA is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this app, including but not limited to inaccurate prayer times or content errors.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
